What this site is, how a case is built, what we rely on and who writes.
Ethics Club is about how children learn to tell right from wrong, and about what is behind their actions. We take specific situations — lying, jealousy, broken rules, fights between children — and break them down: what to find out before acting, which options a parent has and what each one leads to.
Case breakdowns in five topics: boundaries and rules, honesty and lying, fairness and sharing, conflicts between children, emotions and empathy. Each carries the age it is written for. Alongside them — explanations of what may be behind the behaviour, and games tied to the skill they train.
Courses, programmes or enrolment — we teach nobody and recruit nobody. Ready-made lines to say to your child: parents read this site in many countries and every culture has its own words, so we give principles, not scripts. Diagnoses or "cases from our practice". If a situation is serious, see a specialist in person.
Wherever we rely on research, we name the study and say what it showed and what it does not prove. The scenes in our cases are illustrations, not real families. The date of a substantial update stands on the page.
The materials are prepared by the Ethics Club editorial team. We do not pass ourselves off as doctors and do not sign texts with invented names. An author's and a reviewer's name will appear on a page once verifiable qualifications stand behind it.
